Octane Booster?

I have a Mercury Racing 500 EFI engine in my boat.
I can only get 88 octane - no ethanol at the gas station close to the lake where I use the boat, should I use an octane booster ?

I can’t answer whether or not you need it, but if the inmates say yes, look at the BND Aces octane booster.

Should be fine as merc calls for 87.
