What's the deal with pallet jacks? Pricing seems to vary greatly for a standard 48 inch pallet jack from $300 up to $900. They all seem to be similar in quality builds almost like they were made by one or two parent manufacturers and everybody else just slaps their sticker on it. What's the difference between a Uline, global industrial, Northern tool, or a no name manufacturer?

If you don't need it this minute, Craiglist, OfferUp, or FB Marketplace will save you a shitload of money buying a great condition used pallet jack over a brand new one.

Yeah we have multiple so don't need one right away. Looking to replace our narrow one that is only 21 inch Forks. Sometimes we get narrow pallets that need that one. The pump on it started leaking so I searched for a rebuild kit. That's where I discovered there doesn't seem to be Parts lists for different manufacturers most of the parts are generic.

Harbor Freight would probably work just fine considering what it's used for. I'll check that out, thanks.
