My whole website business runs on PayPal...

The income goes in, and all my vendors get paid with my PayPal debit card.

Super easy to track spending and run reports, without wasting money on a Quickbooks subscription. Or getting hosed down by a bank for a business account.

Lots of people, evidently. When I got my website going, it was CC only....a couple emails a week from people asking if I accept paypal, so I added paypal as a payment option. About 1/2 my sales are paid with Paypal.

Just Paypal itself is a scam, LOL.

I have their icon on my website as a payment portal. We rarely use it since we have a cc reader at the office. People call in and we run the numbers. Pays quickly minus their 3.5% cut of course.

One customer paid through the website recently. $6800. But Paypal put a three week hold on it. Kinda shitty, but they thought it might be fraud. Since we didn't use it very often the payment was quite out of character. The next payment that went through Paypal came in a couple days. But when you are looking forward to that money to make your payroll, and it is unavailable, it makes one less happy with the process.
