Anyone in the Phoenix are have a reliable, knowledgeable shop that can do a basic 6.0 LS based rebuild? Looks like I have a bottom end starting to rattle pretty bad and would like to freshen it up before it gets worse. Mild cam swap and tune while in there. We are talking a 3500 family van, so nothing crazy. Just a dependable rebuild.

Yes Larry is at the top of the game and I would head to him if I were in Tucson. He just is a little tough logistically for me right now.

If you are going to pull it out yourself and it is just for the family truckster, I would consider buying a short block either new or rebuilt on-line.

It might end up being a lot cheaper than going to a builder and there are a lot of quality products out there for your purpose.

Yes. I have been looking into this as well. I’m just not sure I have the time right now, but this may end up being what I do.
