Heard a big noise and crashing trees and went outside to see this in my yard. Grabbed the FJ and strap and wrapped the suspension and pulled it back to keep it from rolling all the way over. I started to bump some glass out of the windshield as the firefighters got there, and handed off to them. We extracted her without too much drama, stuck her in an ambulance and sent her on her way to hospital. Nothing major fortunately, but she took out a telephone pole, a cable box and a tree.

So, some pics of the rollover and a funny story...

The Sheriff asked me what happened, after we had gotten her out and everything was calmed down.

I told him "I was in my garage, working on the boat and I heard a huge noise in the trees. I said Oh Jesus! There's been a crash! So I ran up the hill in my flip flops, I didn't grab my shoes or nothin'. Thats when I seen the car all rolled over in my yard... Ain't nobody got time for that!"

He didn't get it. The firefighters did though an laughed their asses off.

She was an international visitor... no habla.

Claimed she fell asleep. .3 miles from the turn she made to get on my street, and going up a hill. Whatever.

Unless the Chevelle has the very rare winch option...............................:D

Or the nearly ubiquitous "Call 911" option...

Honestly, I thought the authorities were gonna be a while, but it turns out I live in a "white" neighborhood, and they were there pretty quick..."

Geeze... :rolleyes at least she didn't hit someone else. Don't plan on going after her insurance to fix the damage to your tree ;)

A little faster and she would have drilled a mold. She came to rest on top of a tree that was right above the deck mold.

That would have been interesting for me to describe to her non-insurance.

The trees are actually on a little county-island on my property because of drainage issues.

I actually almost did, but thought the liability might be a bit much. The winch was pulling it right on over.
