@parker guy check out rubrails.com or Rex marine. I don't know what you have but if it's just over an inch wide and screws every six inches eliminator won't have it you have to get it from rex marine I just talked to them maybe 3 weeks ago.

I had Saleen in Havasu install new rub rail on my Advantage a few years ago. Turned out pretty nice. It’s white with a SS insert. Changed the look of the whole boat..

if you went to the trouble/expense of getting your hull capped why are you putting rub rail back on ?

or do you and I have different definitions of what capping a hull is ?

I was just going to type the same thing. Capped looks SOOOOOOO nice, why put a rub rail on after? People usually say to protect the boat but lets be realistic, 99% of docks rub up against the boat under the rub rail. A rub rail would be useful in places like Florida that have all pylon style docking but on the West coast with docks, I just don't see a need for a rub rail.

Call Mike in parts at Nordic, get yourself some 1” Taco Stainless it looks absolutely best on a capped boat imho.

Same here, I would never cap a boat and then put a rub rail. Had a capped boat for 15 years, only way to go and makes no difference in docking, just pull out the bumpers. Rub rails are hit and miss for protection, they do no enhance the boat....and you are subject to reinserting rubber..

I assumed he was doing a half cap, and the 1” stainless from Taco looks best that way! But if you had the whole boy capped
No way I’d put anything back on the boat.

Capped the front and back on my 26 Daytona. Need 1” stainless down the sides.
