So the new coach has this old spot light on it. it works but it is just a beam of light. It doesnt always move as it should. Would you replace it or just remove it? any suggestions.

Remove. I stripped all the old tech BS off my roof. Big sat dome, fold up TV ant, same style spotlight, all gone. Mucho bettero looking.

had something similar for my discovery.... maybe used it one time. Most of the other times I wanted to use it I couldn't find the damn remote.

I'd get rid of it. If you do decide to replace it, make sure you put the remote somewhere handy.... and get one with a flood beam pattern. They usually come with a spot beam, which makes them less effective.

Yeah I have been thinking about that and was hoping this would be better than it is.
After I posted that, I was thinking of putting one on my trailer. Don't really need a light bar on the truck except for when trying to find camp at night towing. 50" onyx sounds perfect 😁

A lot of these coaches used headlights/housings from a light duty truck of some sort - my 2000 coach has early 90's Ford Bronco head lights. My boss's 2007 country coach used some early 2000's F-150 headlight housings. We both bought modern upgraded housings/lights for our respective coach and installed them and have zero need for any kind of light bar with the high beams on. I was blown away at the reach and brightness his had last trip when he pulled into cement flats, he had the same comment for me when I pulled in after him on our previous. Worth looking into upgrading to some LEDs or projector housings if they have them avaliable.
