If you, friends or loved ones are getting scammer calls from various "organizations" like Paypal, Geek Squad, Amazon, Norton, etc. telling you you have a subscription expiring, iPhone 13 on the way, etc., here's what the deal is. They are mostly from India, trying to get into your computer with programs like TeamViewer, trying to get you to buy gift cards and give them the access #s or get your credit card #s. They are mostly from a state in India called West Bengal in the city of Kolkata (Calcutta). They are all scammers. They buy detailed info from company employees here in the US which is why they are so convincing because they have a lot of information on you and use to scam people. Scams also come in emails.
Check out these YT channels for ideas on dealing with these assholes.
My favorite is one called "Scammer Payback" The guy goes by Parogy or some shit like that. You guys have to watch some of his videos. He also speaks Indian. He gains access to the scammer's computers and steals their shit. He also has an email to report scammers to. He's got like 3 million subs.
There is another one called "Scambaiter" that was on the news recently where he had the Indian police go in and arrest the scammers and watched it ON THEIR CCTV.
There are some other ones if you search YT.
When they call me I will initially play stupid and play along a bit not giving them any info then I will go online, find out what time it is in Kolkata and tell them the time there, ask them if they are in the Genisis Building on the 4th floor, tell them I am sending the cops there, and if they're still on the phone I tell them I'm sending Parogy over to FUCK THEIR MOM IN THE ASS. LOL They will usually bug me for a day then won't bother me for a while.
