Scrap Metal

Does anyone know of a place in the Orange County area that will purchase scrap metal? We have several metal racks, dolly's, and other equipment that are not fixable which I will like to cash in.

I go to DBW Metal Recycling, Off the 91 fwy and Glassell/Kraemer. You can see it situated next to the freeway between Tustin and Glassell

Theres another one called SA Recycling in Santa Ana Off the 5 fwy where Main hits 17th st.


I'm sure if you google it there are a bunch. Those are the two I frequent most, just depending on who is giving more $$$ that day.

I scraped almost 6k a year ago with SA in the valley. Very easy to deal with. Just make sure you take it in and not an employee or tow company. The big scam right now is skimming the total weight. They will remove 1 item and weight the truck then give a ticket then weight the truck again and issue another ticket.

We use SA. Call ahead and negotiate before hand if you have a lot. They'll work with you on the phone but after your there they know the ball is in their court.

I have an employee I set up the first time now he drops off whenever with no hassle
