Small engine rebuilder in Socal

I have a German built 11hp diesel motor that needs a top end (maybe more) rebuild. Any one local in socal that will take that on? Parts are available online. At this point I’d be happy to ship it to @monkeyswrench if he’s willing.

Your best shot out your way would be one of the shops that work on refer trailers or small garden tractors. Most of them run little 2 cylinder Yanmar or chinesium copies. It's just like any other small engine, just heavier and higher compression. With it being a Hatz, you may look into guys that work on concrete pumps. Bigger versions of the Hatz variety, but a lot of them out and about.

Did you try Chino mower? I think they work on more than just mowers.
