image.jpg image.jpg I ran into a problem when upgrading the speakers in our 28 eagle with a pair of the rear co axial speakers hitting the fuel tank filler hose. Here are some pics of what I did to correct the issue with some mdf rings some fleece from the fabric store and some fiberglass resin!ATTACH=CONFIG]421048[/ATTACH] image.jpg

Thank you!!!! I ran into a similar problem with fitting speakers in the rear of my hallett. Old speaker holes were slightly too big to re drill speakers into. Great idea. Did you cut the MDF yourself or buy the circles pre cut?

I used a jig saw to cut the rings out myself

Looks much better than the cheap black plastic speaker risers that people usually use, that's for sure. Great job :thumbup:
