Spectrum Mobile Advice ?

Looking for advice from anyone who has tried Spectrum mobile. I'm NOT intersed in other companies just looking for firsthand expierence with Spectrum mobile.

They claim they use Verizon towers. I have 4 lines unlilmited with Verizon now $162.00 Spectrum is offering 4 lines unlimited for $119.99 + internet discounts.

even with a coshare agreement, secondary carriers will always take a backseat to their own customers. so if you are near a congested site, Verizon customers will get priority over connectivity and bandwidth. same with tower switching when you are the move. Not that its bad, when it works it works, but there is a reason its cheaper

I have seen this with carriers

I really need to hear from someone who has actually tried it.

I have it. Had Verizon prior for at least a decade. I have not noticed any drop in coverage from spectrum. It's been pretty dam reliable from a coverage stand point. And way cheaper, like a 3rd of what I was paying.

The cons of it, the customer service for the mobile side it a joke. Good luck calling in for anything, and if you go to the store, the people dont know anything, and they cant call other stores at all to see if there is stock or for help, they cant call into to corporate to talk to someone different, they just call the same number you would call and talk to the same people.

I have it in Chino and my mom has it in Garden Grove. The reception has been great. I can’t remember when I didn’t have bars, even in glamis on a holiday weekend. I still had 1 bar. Haven't had any problems in Havasu besides the gorge where a lot of carriers get bad service. It’s a lot cheaper then I was paying at ATT. I haven’t had to deal with their customer service yet, but my mom has and she just walked into a spectrum store. They fixed her iPhone issue. She hasn’t complained about a lack of service in her area.

I was worried first it would be similar to sprint, but it is just like having Verizon.

Hi Desert. Apple valley area. But I work all through So Cal, including OC. Works well in Havasu as well.

We didn’t switch to spectruM mobile but are T-Mobile ( ok. still sprint for another month or so. )
We lowered from sprint to T-Mobile for unlimited with old phones and insurance was 350ish . To T-Mobile with 3 new 13+ pros at about 215 a month with insurance and unlimited.
We have spectrum cable / internet / and land line. And have no complaints there at all. Just throwing out some info.

My boss "Had" the Verizon visible here in Vegas, half the cost same towers same company. Had nothing but problems, no bars sitting next to his wife on Verizon with full bars.
