Can Am says use the Softstraps and tie down the A Arms.
Nahhh, didn't like that.
Some discussion of a better, simpler way. Owners don't see the drilled gussets under the rear fenders and some talk don't use those.

2400 miles like this no issues:

We took the I 20 from St Anthony Idaho to Jackson Hole Wy.
About as brutal a road as you will ever encounter towing a heavy trailer.
Held up good and I'll never take that route again.

80" wide with the paddles. Have to put the stock wheels and tires back on to load it.

Had to dial back CCW the shocks settings and spin the spring rings a few turns CCW and the ride quality improved.
Plenty of power and the seating positions are excellent.

Fantastic duner.

A Can Am rep told me they were going to offer a more responsive Visco Loc (4WD) in this '18 model and evidently it is.
No one has doubted my take so maybe so,, we'll see when others give their takes. Theirs a few guys in the dune forums that have both years and they'll give a more accurate take.

The steering is precise making it really fun to drive. Lands from jumps most excellent.
Our XPT is like driving a clunky forklift in comparison.

Glad we bought it, wife loves it too.
ECU reflash took us up to a real noticeable 190 HP but the stock 172 HP is awesome.

We've owned every model Rzr made and the X3 is a whole different machine.
