This weekend is the Texas 2k. Some of the biggest horsepower cars in the country decent on Houston Texas for a weekend of Drag Racing, Roll Racing, and a Top Speed Shootout.

TX2K History

This annual gathering of horsepower-aholics began in 1999 in Houston with a few dozen cars attending. The first sponsor was MVP Motorsports (www.mvpmotorsports.com) and the event was actually named ?The Supra Nationals? to celebrate Toyota?s iconic sports car and the main type of car that attended. Over the years the event has grown incredibly and now encompasses five days showcasing several events. If you like fast cars, then this is the event for you.
