@angiebaby and I love bars. I suspect the rest of you do as well. I guess that between the lot of us, we could assemble a pretty damn good list of drinking establishments worth a few minutes of our time. I did a quick search to see if this has been covered before and was surprised I did not see a global list of fine drinking establishments, so VIN be damned.
Every list needs a few rules, so ignore them if you like.

Post a reason or story as to why it is a great bar.
In no particular order of value, I will submit a few to get us started.
Hogs and Heifers Las Vegas
@DaddyMack from the Hot Boat days took me to this bar for the first time during the SEMA show years ago. I knew I was in trouble when the bartenders shouted "DADDY MACK In THE HOUSE" when we walked in. He and I closed the bar with a handful of drunk bartenders in the early hours of the morning. As a side note, @angiebaby may or may not have a picture of her boobs hanging in the men's room. She never wanted to sacrifice a nice bra in that place, so she put them in her purse when we visited. It's a must-visit when we are in Vegas.
Hogs Breath Saloon
I got so drunk here that my Liver hurt the next day. Enough said. I love this bar. Well, to be honest, I love Duval Street. Honorable mention to the Green Parrot, and I was not down with Garden of Eden no matter how drunk the idea of my balls sticking to the barstool was not attractive.
Boardmanville trading post
You might say this is where I learned the fine art of drinking. My step Mom was the Step Daughter of Chuck Boardman (RIP). As a preteen, I spent every holiday in Glamis pumping gas, stealing beer, and raging the dunes. Dad was a member of the Looney Duners, so we spent much time out there. My hand-drawn maps used to hang in the OG single-wide store if those walls could talk.
Oldest Bar in Nevada
A regular visit for us when we lived in Reno, this bar is fantastic. The Bloody Mary is a highlight. Rachel Welch Bra's story is worth the trip to this cool off-the-beaten-path bar.
Honorable mention to Dirty Dicks for an old west off-grid break from reality. Cell Phones don't work here. Pretty epic off-roading out in the center of Nevada.
BullDog
I'm not sure why I like this crappy little Bar with Liquor in the front and poker in the rear other than its fierce resistance to the BS that has sprung up on all sides of this once sleepy town turned Yuppie getaway. Old school Montana bar that is holding on to its roots. Honorable mention to The Jack Saloon in Lolo Mt. This is a must-visit for nothing else than the building. Massive logs.
If you are lucky, you have a bar story that you always tell. Mine takes place at Tootsies Orchid Lounge in Nashville, Tennessee.

There is so much to tell about the 18 hours I spent in Nashville with some great friends on our way to launch the start-up of SXSPerformance.com at some hillbilly UTV event in Tenessee. I will just share the highlight. Somehow we got the Willie Nelson smoking section booth. Bought the band for the night and got them to play only the songs we wanted. At some point, we told them we wanted them to play David Allen Coe songs, but not "You never call me by my name." We liked that nasty stuff that would make women blush. Edit: There is an RDP lurker member who was with me. I will keep his name private unless he wants to share.
When they said they were going to play it with a twist, our minds were blown. John Prine was sitting in the bar that night. John Prine helped Steve Goodman write the song back in the 70s but never took credit. John Prine joined the band and played the song just for us with a tip of his hat to the drunks in the back with a great taste in music.
Edit: I should add that we got tossed out of the joint shortly after this picture was taken.
