Best movie ever made.
I watch it about once a year and laugh for 3 days after.
"The Sherrif's a Neeaarrr" with Solid Brass Cymbal's banging lol

Hhahaha my Wife was reading an article last night about Mel Brooks when he visited somebody in France for a few years in the 80's.
She's 45yrs old and asked who he was/is and I replied "Blazing Saddles" ohh I haven't seen that movie  I replied it's the best move ever ;)

& Young Frankenstein. Absolute genius ole Mel.
He started to slip with Space Balls and I lost interest after that.

Mel, had a favorite Group he worked with. Gene Wilder, Madaline Kahn, and others were not afraid to take chances and Push the Limits. Young Frankenstein "Nice Knockers"!!:)

My wife calls another "stupid boy movie" which makes it all that much more better along with the other classics like Animal House, Caddyshack, etc!

Sounds like you need to educate here, its a musical.... not a damn thing "boy movie" about a musical!

I never liked or understood the "Ending", BUT!!? The rest is a True Mel Brooks Classic. He had Friends of All Races and they Loved and Respected him and would work with him any time in any Movie.👍

I read one time that Richard Pryor was one of the writers of Blazing Saddles. When they got it picked up by a movie company, their contract stated that not one word of the script could be changed. Mel Brooks had final content control. When the film was completed, some of the Executives, wanted to scrap the project and take a loss. They finally decided to release the film.
