UPS does the same thing.

Christmas presents last year sat in a warehouse in suburban Chicago for 4 days till the scheduled delivery date at my in-law's.

Getting one early would pay back for those late ones don't you think

BUy the way I did pay for expedited 2 or 3 day service. Figured It would be 4 or 5 if I didn't

I will tell a custumer next time, since they didn't pay for expedite, they will get the parts in a normal leadtime, whatever it may be. If the parts are done sooner they will just sit here until the due date.

I am sure the custumer will be happy as well when I call them and fuck with them saying the parts are ready but I won't deliver until the due date. That will teach them to pay the expedite fee.

Make sense?

If UPS has done that to me in the past, I have never seen it on tracking information.

No, they didn't pay for overnight. They paid for Express Saver, which is 3 business days, but they still want it overnight, thats why he's upset, I think?

In business we call that "under promise and over deliver". They don't seem to want to over deliver.

exactly my point.

keep me ignorant and call it "in transit" like UPS does.

Then I will just think some poor dude is trudging along with my package on his way here the whole time, not sitting on a shelf attended by an employee with an attitude like a DMV worker not worried about anything because noone will say shit.

Yes I know. You paid for a Sept.14th delivery date, so that's the service they are providing you with. No reason to be upset?. Next time you can have it there Priority/Standard overnight by 1030am/3pm for an additional cost.:thumbsup. The threads title just was way off, because they haven't done anything wrong...

For once I can finally agree with you!! You are 100% right! Why the fuck would you pay for express saver when your package is only 1 day away ground? They are doing their job...

I don't have a problem with UPS and never have. I don't ship with anything else, and like reasons similar to today, that wont change anytime soon.

ON another package....After being three or four days late and multiple calls back and fourth to Trident and fedsux, I had to go pick up a package from the depot in Riverside because fedsux said my address "didn't exist".

"MF I can guarantee you it does, I am there right now. The people I owe money to sure fucking seem to find me, this house has been here for 50 years, it isn't a new address."

Just saying, isn't the first time.

The guy that called me back today first said, "There wasn't room on the truck" I laughed and said "You are shitting me, there are at least 4 trucks a day that drive by my shop, everyday, one UPS truck, same driver, twice a day. Riverside shop was the same way. Someone at fesux needs to get their head out of their ass and work on logistics. You are full of shit, I am looking at the tracking and it says it is sitting waiting for delivery, then he started in with "the service I paid for"

Nope, thread title is perfect, think you need to go back and read it.

They did everything right, that is why I don't use them, by design.

So I guess I know who you work for. Blind by Association?

Company I bought it from is back east. The company said it was shipping from the east coast as well. I noticed the origin too. WTF would I have paid for express shipping if it came local?

I guess if I asked for ground I would have got it next day? Silly to me.

Thought it was strange it went to the ontario warehouse intitially. figured that was an error. Maybe not

No I don't. I used to work for a small business in shipping/receiving a few years ago, so I just got familar with how all the rates and services for fedex and UPS used to be.

Gottcha ;) Ya that's F'd on the people you ordered from! I guess the only scenario I can see is if you were out of town for the last couple days so you wanted it delivered when you got back so you choose the 3 day deal...

Ya 1 day ground if it shipped from socal and was delivered to socal for sure..

I still don't like fedex though lol.....With UPS I have had packages come EARLY a couple times let alone on time EVERYTIME (in the US)..

At least you will have you'r package tomorrow and you know it. :thumbsup

Ground would have been much cheaper, and I think it was even "free" with the purchase.

I paid $40(or more) to ship on an inflated part cost, for something it seems I could have will called from a local warehouse.

I hope.

I had an envelope Priority Overnight, Saturday Delivery this past week that was being shipped to me. Supposed to be here by noon. I sit around and wait, and wait, and wait. Tracking shows it out on a truck for delivery at 8 am. Noon rolls around, no delivery. Call them get some bonehead in New Delhi that tells me they don't deliver to my area on Saturday so I go down to the local Fed Ex distribution center.. They tell me that it should have been delivered because they DO deliver on Saturdays.. Then she proceeds to tell me the envelope was missed being put on the truck so the manager took it at 9 am to deliver it to the house. By now it's 2 pm, no delivery yet. I get a hold of the terminal, she tells me the manager forgot about it and took my envelope home.

Needless to say, I wasted pretty much my entire Saturday waiting for a guaranteed package. Manager finally decided to shut off the football game and drop it at the house at 2:30. That's Fed Ex for ya
