It’s basically an interior shroud over the fuel fill. Beginning to let fumes in. Pretty thin plastic.
Before I pull it and head down to ask the pros at camping world, anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.

I don't have a trailer but I would take this picture and tell them you need one of these.

well. it's in an r.v. so.......expensive?
is the trlr mfg. still in business? if yes, it may be worth a call to them to obtain or find out info. to search it out on the web.
Maybe call Ron @ Walt's RV in Corona 951/270-0015. They have a huge inventory of mfg. and some larger dealerships inventory buy out when they closed down through the economic depression etc.

I go get some metal and Fab one up that way it won't break again.
This. After you take off the old one you might find you could make the new one less intrusive also because they just used a stock one across all their models instead of adjusting the size for each model.

you could also make a fiberglass replacement pretty quickly using that as the plug.

The problem is not the cover...

The problem is that you have a fuel leak somewhere. Get under the trailer and find the leak. You should not be smelling fuel anywhere.

And be Very careful. Fuel vapor is Very explosive!

That's manufacturer specific, not a generic part , call who ever made the trailer but as others have said I would go with that metal one way more durable.

Exactly!! By thst part being broken or cracked, it should not cause you to smell any fumes.

My Raptor Toyhauler came with one sheet metal formed and welded out of diamond plate. I would think a fabricator could make one up fairly easy.

I would be a LOT more concerned with the fuel leak you have beneath this than the cosmetic repair of this thingamajig!

Thanks for the repsonses. Haven't tracked a replacement. Other side has a sheetmetal version covering an exterior speaker so that may be the way to go.
As for the fuel leak, it was determined a while back to be a bad cap. My driveway is both sloped and off camber. I had opportunity to witness the cap leaking. I just haven't replaced it.
I wanted to find this part as it will never come up in one piece and do it along with a new filler neck and cap. The backflow deal in the filler neck is also MIA. I'm guessing someone tried to siphon from it at one time.

If you are talking about the metal flap that the neck in your car or truck has, you won't find that on a toy hauler.

It's basically just an auxiliary fuel tank, that you Should be able to put any type of fuel into (including diesel, if you had a diesel generator).

Get a new cap and be done with it. Along with not storing fuel in it! Today's fuel goes bad in just a few weeks. It's best to just run your generator dry.

As long as it's not Diesel of course. :p

Just go online and order it . Chances are if you try to find it local they will say we can order it for you … if you say ok , go ahead and order for me and give them all your info , and pay in advance , they will never call you when it comes in , if they even order it in the first place . Sadly this happens at almost every retail establishment these days .

This. Exactly what I have been dealing with trying to get a fresh water tank from Carson last month. After the Beaumont location called me to say it was there, first they couldn't find it when I showed up. Then they gave me one that was both clearly used and cracked.
What followed was FIVE different people at the Gardena location all promised "to call me back when . . ." By the third time I'm telling them that is exactly what they said the last time. Terrible customer service.
