Ok so I have a Eliminator 23 Daytona and when towing the bow of the boat bounces. It always have done this some but now I got a new truck, chevy 2500 H D and it has got worse because truck is alot stiffer and bounce has got worse. I do have a extra strap on the bow eye but it goes front to the bottom of winch tower. Have thought about a ratchet strap straight down to trl frame but wanted to see if anyone else has this problem.

The root of this problem is the trailer, it is flexing giving the boat a "boost" to start the movement. This is why a properly loaded V-bottom (loaded with the V just above the bow eye contacting v block" This completes the "box", now this momentum is taken up by the springs or torsions. If you could support the underside of the front of the tunnel "would be very difficult to load" this issue would go away. Straps will arrest the upward movement but obviously not downward. I would slide the boat forward increasing lounge weight if possible, this will calm thing down a bit and go from there.

My boat is supported with a V block under the tunnel. Torsion axles on the trailer. So you may be right about not enough tongue weight. I have a transom strap and the winch strap holding the bow to the bow stop so I know the boat is not leaving the bow stop. It may be trailer flex from long trailer tongue without enough tongue weight. It does not have a lot of tongue weight. Looks like I can only go front a couple inches, but I will tr
y that. Thanks for your feed back.

There is a gap in the front arm of the winch mount and trl. Don't look like it is moving, not scratched up on trl. May try a wedge in there.

I have a 23 Eliminator and my trailer bounces as well. Strapping the front vertically helps, but just puts the stress through the bow eye and your bow.

The real problem is there's nothing traingulating or boxing the trailer, so it bends at the front. I'm putting angled steel from the uprights to the framerails to alleviate this problem. Some tunnel trailers do this on multiple bunks, which is a great idea traingulating multiple sections together.

I can make mine do it just sitting in the shop in about 5 seconds, it's ridiculous.

Yes the tongue is so long because of the pickles need to clear the truck. The tongue should have been heavier materal.
Thanks Hydrostreamin
