Value of a 1995 Mercury 200 EFI (FF Block)

I picked up a boat with this engine. Boat was thrashed but the engine looks good. Seller said it ran and had tested it for another buyer but the buyer backed out when he really looked at the boat...lol The engine is for sale but I want an honest value. You can check it out, do a compression check or whatever you want to do aside from disassembly. Located in Buckeye, AZ

I got this one for 4000 last season. It had the powered replaced with documentation in 2015. New lower unit in 2017. I paid the full asking price of 4k
