Vessel view 502 can it show negative numbers?

Hello guys just zeroing out my trims and I thought for sure you could get trim to read a negative number but I can't seam to do it? I sure like zero to be flat on my gauge!

I know that the 702/703 and 902/903 can, but I'm not completely sure on the 502.

I'd go here=> VesselView Software Download and follow the instructions carefully. Make sure to use the size microSD card they tell you or it doesn't see it. Ask me how I know.....

After getting the latest and greatest s/w installed, you have to set your trim inputs, including full down, level trim, max trim (running) and max trim trailer.

Your propshaft level input sets the screen to zero, and trim down will yield negative numbers and trim up will yield you positive numbers.

So I set everything and still does not show negative numbers? So right now I just set it so 0% is level with the boat and everything trimming up is positive trim just kinda sucks anything negative is just 0% The vessel view is a 2018 Model 902 and I used this for setting up. What values go in row 2 it does not say?

Wow thanks for fast reply!! I was hoping it did not need a update and it was just set up wrong so I have not done a update. But sounds like I need a update for the negative numbers to work then?

Did you level the drive(s) with the bottom of the boat?

Use a level app on your phone or a digital level, put it on the keel, set an alternate zero, and keep the leveling device in the same orientation. Set your drive to match this alternate zero. This value will be used for zero.

First line is full tuck, second line is max running trim. Third line is max trailer trim.

Thanks yes leveled drives to the bottom of the boat with a digital level.
Tucked them full in and entered the values to have them correct and equal.
(Line one)
2nd leveled them perfect to bottom of boat entered that number
Entered that number in the (zero point)
3rd Trimmed as far as I need with out binding rigging.
Entered that value in (line three)
I have never seen a negative numbers? Right now my level with bottom of the boat for both engines spot on is 15% I guess that's fine.

Also, you need to have 2020 or newer software in there

As you can see from the pics above, the numbers can go negative. I set the zero at propshaft level with the keel.

Wow brother super awesome of you checking back! Thank you I have the SD cards just need to update them and install. Crazy I have not even had boat wett yet and bought in October between owning my own shop now and age..... crap lol...... But I am going to get her wett very very soon now!!!
