Keep hearing about it. I only know of two bars between My house and Pirates.

Lazy Harry's in up by the police doc's in Bullhead. I have not been there in a few years but the last time I was there there was SO MUCH GRASS floating in the water that it took me a half hour to pull all the shit out of the pump. Other than that it's just a little run down place kinda like the springs with out the marina.

YEP used to be called Sunshine Marina I still have a shirt from when it was Sunshine. There is NO dock you have to go in one of the inlets and just beach your boat and go up the stairs. Last time I was there they had some pretty nice tallent behind the bar. :thumbsup

No place by that name, and if there was it'd be really crappy as said. No need to go looking for it..... nope, not at all.

If your looking for a little known bar on the water in that area where Lazy Harry's isn't, the inlet just after the Arizona Memorial leads to Iguana's. Full bar, and decent mexican food. Much better than looking for a place that doesn't exist and people shouldn't look for.

They used to have a gas dock there but not anymore. The water in the inlet is grassy/nasty and stagnant. The bar serves 16oz. beers:thumbsup and could be a really cool place for boaters to stop in if they would spend some money. It is near where the "pipeline" crosses over the river.

SO ...... does this place resemble Rainbow Beach? All I want is ONE honest answer. Only asking because I run to Laughlin all the time (low water or high water) and have never seen it.

Be careful pulling in there when the water is low(especially in the mornings). It was so shallow one weekend I couldn't even get my 21 Shock wave jet boat in there. We tried to get out and walk it across the rocks but it was too damn low.

If you blink you'll miss it.

Here's a map.

Here is Iguanas. Far easier in and out, and has a dock. Everything on this stretch is subject to low flow, and (later in the summer) weeds. Back your trailer off the end of the ramp at Rotary once and you'll know.

So Iguana's and Lazy Harry's are right next to each other?

If there WERE a Lazy Harry's, it wouldn't be conducive to boaters just coming in and grabbing a cocktail or something to eat. No dock (allegedly), a crappy little ramp, shallow, and full of weeds. It wouldn't be the kind of place locals would want made more popular... like Pirate's cove. Allegedly..... if there WERE such a place.

Here's all the info you need:
http://www.lazyharrys.com/loc_hrs.html

It's actually a pretty good time. Ice cold Tall boys, pool and Nascar on the TV's.. It's old school, and cool..
Last time I was there I also sucked up a rock from the shallow inlet.

Just looked at their calender; A band Inhale is playing there Memorial Day Weekend. Thet play at a local bar here called Friar Tucks all the time. There pretty good! Kinda Reggae/ Ska like Pepper or Sublime. I'd defiantly check them out if I was going up that way Memorial Weekend. :thumbsup

If they're headed up Memorial weekend, they may not enjoy it as much as they think. We let the tourists and Seadoos have the river for holiday weekends. Tends to make people not want to come back......:party2:
