I have the same set-up in my 02 Commander Cruiser and at best reach 50mph. Do you have any other mods other than the headers to reach 57mph?

Yea the twins! duh!!

No just the headers and a K&N flame arrestor. The boat pops right out of the hole. Are the Shockwave and Commannder Hulls the same? The pump was worked by GS Marine. Not sure what was done to it though. If I keep it for another season I may take in to Greg to add a ride plate and get rid of the steering skag.

If I get back out one more time in the next few weeks Ill video the boats top speed to prove Im not bs'n:bunny:

The hull design looks identical to the Commander. I beleive you on the speed, just trying to figure out what my cruiser is missing. This is my first season with it and it seems on the slow side...just figured it was what comes along with owning a cruiser. I'll likely need some pump work or mods.

When I bought the boat, the previous owner told me 60mph. I figured ya right 50 at best. Well, it suprised me. Hell, I didnt even know the boat had dana headers till we were at the sandbar and someone said wow I cant believe they polished the stock headers. Well we moved the side panel and sure as shit they were Dana Headers!

I really want to add the ride plate and see if it gets the pump out more. Right now its really low. My buddy has a Renegade (same bottom)with a ride plate and it runs a little less wet.

Well hello there! I had to take the "group therapy" off of it. I bought it from a divorced couple Mike and Renee.

Bump, there where a couple nicks in the seats. Im had a guy repair them. Someone jump on this boat! Boat is in great condition for a 10 year old boat and runs great!!!

So it seems. I had it out last weekend in Newport so as long as I'm using it, I'm happy. Gonna try and hit the water at least once a month local here.

Your boats nice and Im suprised it didnt sell for that price 2 years ago. Must be the gel-coat? When Ted at boaters outley started telling me what he's selling boats for right now I couldnt believe it.

I figured price mine dirt cheap and be done with it quickly..Like a band-aid. Quick and painful! I hate the process of selling toys. Love buying em though! Can't wait to move onto the next!

I was just there this morning! I had an interior guy come out and fix the few imperfections in my boat upholstery. Damn it looks good, almost too good!:thumbsup

When I first put my boat up for sale, I listed it for $65,000. Got quite a few hits, took one out on a test ride and they offered me $60,000. I really didn't want to sell it so I held firm at my price. Nice job, eh? :D

Phones been ringing off the hook today at Boaters outlet and had a few buyers come look at it. :thumbsup
Kinda pisses me off though! Ive had a lot of "will you take less" calls and emails from craigslist and here. Fuck off tire kickers!:D Its already a steal.
