Yea. The 21 trick is a splash of the 21 skater it appears. Don’t know where they got the plug for the 23. Maybe stretched and widened 21?

I think twin 300’s on that 23 would be SICK!

Aggree 100% twin 300r would be a runner.

Single 300 build is 120. 30k for another motor. Extra bracket and rigging may push it up a bit more.

i wouldnt say all..but better pay life insurance if you try any kind of hard turn in Trick21

I would keep it a single...300R or 450R... think twins would really mess with center of gravity and all around handling of the boat... particularly the weight of modern day V8's.....

I'm fairly certain they bought the molds from Skater and did some of their own tweaks. I priced one out with a 300 back then in a pipe dream and dug into them a bit. I'm fairly confident they bought them. And I'm fairly confident they sold them a few years ago as well.

Glad to see Jeff is getting close to starting production!! Stand up guy with a passion and tons of experience building boats.

I had one of the early 21's with 2.5 SS never had a problem turning hard. Just like any other fast boat learn how to drive it and get your set up figured out. Sweeping turns down Parker Strip and over a 100 and full hard turns 50-60. its all about trim and throttle input.
Remember its a true Cat a little outside lean is o.k.. Don't think I would opt for the center pod option but he could be on to something. That would make it legal for the Enduro with a 450!!

Congrats Jeff cant wait to see the 1st one on the water!!

Our Trick definitely didn't turn like a 21 foot direct drive ski boat, but we never had a problem. I wasn't shooting curvy rivers in it, but there was never a time that boat scared me except when I was running with 2FF up to Topock at about 90 and we came up on a log. Other than that, it was always pretty smooth sailing.

I am super excited for Jeff. He sent me photos of this thing prior to it being shown anywhere else. I am sure he will do awesome with it. He is a great guy that takes care of his customers and knows his boat building.

We doodle in the Sacto delta with super tight turns.This 21 trick had Merc 300XS with 20" shaft.the owner had previous experience in 18' Mirage Jaguar ModVp and 28 Skater with twin 3.2s which are both Phenominal "g-force" turning boats!!He tried "bat turn" in the trick and ended up on his lid.He wont do that again,cause he sold it instantly after that
