Great job done by both you and the wife on this restoration. I am confident that you find the boat will be faster in a 2 to 3 foot chop than the calm water in the video. Similar to my old 31’ Sonic the Formulas are heavy and need the chop to loosen up the hull. You are gonna love it either way.

Wow! What a morning. The maiden voyage could not have gone better. I'm still kinda in shock.
People say that Old Cadillacs drive like a boat, well this girl drives like a Cadillac! Oh man, so smooth.

As expected the fuel injection needs some tuning. Running on the hose vs under load is way different. But overall she ran very good.
@ 3k rpm we were at 42mph on the gps. At 4200K( about half throttle ) =60mph. I don't know the specs on the motors or what the WOT is for the motors. So I'm going to error on the side of caution. At 60 it was solid and so much more to give.
Looking at the old performance chart on the 311, we are about 10mph faster at every rpm range. So happy. Our fuel consumption should be way better as well. I need to try and figure out a good way to measure that.
My wife did a fabulous job bringing the boat to the dock using the offshore controls for the very first time. She rocks!

We have a couple solar lights that color change and found that red seemed to attract fewer bugs. Curious if you'll notice the same with your red cabin lights.
