Feather, Owens, Colorado. The daily blood transfusion California needs to survive. Cut the flow and it withers and dies. No wall needed, just a few accidents.

Can't do that. Then we have a bunch of refugees coming to Free America. Gotta build the wall first.

I know you guys are being tongue in cheek, but the truth is that CA can NEVER be isolated from the continental United States.
Creating a military front, on purpose, on our own soil is strategic suicide.
Giving the entire west coast away, then ending up immediately fighting to get it back or stopping the advance of a foreign army…that we created…is not real smart.
Historically, that’s never worked out anywhere in the world.
Everyone on the other side of the line simply stands up, turns around, and starts shooting the other way. 🤷🏼‍♂️
Russia did that once or twice…

Yes, poking fun, but also maybe a slight warning to how fragile California is. Sure California is a economic powerhouse, but it does not have a stable water supply. Disrupt that and the place goes to hell quickly.

When I lived in Anderson for 18 years we never ever experienced any sort of water shortage.
I accidentally left my 2” irrigation pump running for days several different times.
(4 acres, I had over 40 rain birds on 5 loops, in addition to the irrigation system, and a 2700’ ranch house)
It had a drop pipe right in my house well.
Once it pumped it down, took about a minute to recharge.
The entire water “emergency” is from LA south.
When you settle in a desert you’ll get that sometimes. 😎
A water situation in CA would cause a restructuring for sure, but likely would end up being an improvement! 👍👍

Yes, SoCa Greater LA, IE, SB all dry as a bone.

When I was in middle school our well went dry, we had no water, it was terrible and made me hyper aware of the scarcity of clean water. People tend to underappreciated that when they turn on the tap, water comes out. I'm thankful every time I take a hot shower.
