First official boat trip of the year! Celebrating my birthday this weekend in havasu. So excited to have a fresh start. Hopefully every one’s river season goes well this summer.
I may have a special guest on the boat Friday…

Getting the truck washed for the trip! Leaving tomorrow. Hoping the wind goes away on Saturday.

We won’t be out until Memorial Day weekend. Our schedule is booked through may. June we will be out 3x on top of using the motorhome at Newport dunes lol.

The photos aren’t showing it well, but I have been using clutch from shine supply on the inner fenders and shocks. It really cleans it up nicely and makes it pop more. I didn’t realize I run out of tire shine until it was too late.

Well we made it to the house. The last half an hour was sketchy as the truck was shaking. Pulled over and couldn’t see anything obvious. We drove slow and the shaking wasn’t as bad. By the time we got to the house, a huge bubble was on the passenger front inner thread.

About to put the spare on. Very thankful it didn’t go on the drive.

That’s what I googled last night or an impact to the tire, but we didn’t hit anything. Tire age is 07/20 so it’s been about 5 years. We were just talking about that it’s probably time to get news ones. Im waiting for tire man to open to see if they have coopers in stock so we can do it today.

Edit- coopers aren’t in stock so going to have to do it when we get back home.

I have 2 sets of Michelin with like new tread that are cracking like crazy due to age.

A set of load range C Toyos for a Tundra is $1500 cooper's were $1280
6 of the same Michelin on my work rig are $2400

Tireman let me down for the first time last month too and didn't have any more of the tires they sold me last year. Ended up getting them from a competitor shop instead

Robert was pretty happy with the coopers. Lasted 5 years and they aren’t loud, but look “aggressive.” We had falkens before that, and they lasted two years before rot. Looks like my birthday present is now new tires.. lol!

Spent 5 hours in parker last weekend at tire place, the last stud on last wheel wouldn't come off trailer, got there at 7 left close to 1pm, had my truck hooked up and got oil changed so i could'nt even leave, walked around town local tweaker.
