I'm surprised the bigger hotels in town don't offer this service with their big ass laundry equipment

Modern Laundromat at 491 N. Lake Havasu Avenue. They will launder and fold up slightly damp so you can put it on your boat to dry. The owner is there, live. I believe her name is Kassandra. I had my 20-year old, 24-foot cover cleaned there last year. It turned out nice. Not sure of the size limit.

We went the dry cleaner route. They did a nice job and folded it up and put it into a plastic bag. Where it sat for a couple of years. Until we had work done on the boat and didn’t want it to possibly sit out in the weather by chance. 👍 The dry cleaner was Modern Laundromat. I guess they work there as well. Having self serve machines.

Talked to my boss. She said that she did drop it off. They supposedly hand washed it, line dried it and folded and bagged up as noted above. It was the service that a friend recommended and we just did it.

Once it's dry and still very clean you can "re- waterproof" it with scotch guard and a 2 gal type pump garden sprayer. Mist it on in a couple coats as opposed to saturating it in 1 coat. That will help it stay clean longer and shed rain water as opposed to absorb it. If it's old and sun baked the washing process may cause it to tear, Stitching may fail etc. So be prepared for that possibility. 20 yrs is a long time in the sun, elements etc. ( esp. Havasu) And they don't last forever.

Southside Laundromat, Maricopa @ Rolling Hills. Handled my 22' Pontoon full cover with ease. Just drop off and pick up the next day (or so). Make sure you ask them to leave it a little damp so it will be easier to reinstall, and form to the lines on your boat.
They’ve been gonna for well over a year, maybe two? Gator wraps moved into the building.

Just wash it, don't put it in the laundromat dryer. Put it on your boat damp out of the washer. Let it dry on the boat then re-scotch guard it. ( or use 303’s equivalent you can find at Spankys in Parker)
