What's a good spot on the beach where we can eat and wait for the traffic to die down?

Can’t help with dinner, but tell whoever you are picking up to meet you at the departure level. The arrival area can be a 45-1’hr cluster to go around 1x.

But Joey's make a reservation and order the blackened chicken or the Ribeye.

Or Firestone Walker Propagator. Few Pints and I like all the food there. Fish tacos are usually my go to.

Not on the water but close. Rock N Fish and Mangiamo. Mangiamo was one of my ex-bosses favorite places.
Rock N Brew in El Segundo isn’t close to the beach but close to LAX.

Last place I went out over there was the Chart House in Redondo with some out of town family that insisted on taking us out there. Great view, right on the water...food wasn't bad

A little further drive
Bluewater Chipotle blackened swordfish is my go to.

A little pricier

Kincaids I like the seabass

If you want a good drink by Chart house. Go to Old Tony's and get a Fire Chief. Sit upstairs.

That is how we do it. As for the food we hit up towns from El Segundo to Hermosa beach or up to Marina Del Ray a few of the recents are Hook & Plow, Redondo Beach harbor has a few resturants on the water. Tony P is the place on the water in Marina Del Ray that we have been going to for the last couple of years.

That's a brutal drive at 4pm from LAX. But a great spot. My Cousin and my Buddy both have there yachts docked right there. One is hard to miss Lol.

Even the drive to Redondo at that time is fuct. Done it many times going to Propagator.

Fishing With Dynamite in Manhattan Beach is a small spot but killer seafood. Might need a res depending on the day, but if you’re into oysters or something fresh and light while you watch the sunset, it’s a winner.

Truxton's (American), Cinco (Mexican), Araya Thai, The Manchester in Westchester

Cafe Pinguini (A Bit Pricey but BOMB Italian), Playa Provisions in Playa Del rey

Rock n Brews, Brewport, Richmond Bar, Sausal, Standard Station, in El Segundo.
