I've got King bypass shocks on my Rhino, 4 seater. The back sags when anyone rides back there. I've never checked the air pressure on them, what should it be set at? Is this something that needs to be done once in a while?

Its nitrogen, not air. Should be around 125, and no, you shouldnt check it!

Send em in every couple of years or so to have the oil and seals changed and recharged. If you don't see any leaks, your prolly ok.

you'll need bigger springs to hanldle the extra weight, but then unloaded, it will prolly be too stiff to be a nice plush ride. Decisions desisions...

OK, Thanks for the info guys. I don't see any leaks, so I'm going to leave it alone. Maybe try to tighten a couple threads on the spring collar and see how it goes.

You probably have the wrong springs if its sagging.

When I bought them, I was told they were set up for a 4 seater, no way for me to know now. I guess I could ship them to King...

What year did you get your shocks?
The early King's we're set up all that great...but they've got them dialed-in now.

I'm guessing 07'. What do they charge to go through them? Spendy I bet.

a good base is 150 psi nitrogen. custom offroad shops ususally have a nitro tank on hand. ive gone as high as 220.

if its sitting low, you should add some preload, measure the length of the spring b4 and after so you always know where u started.

you dont always want to jump to a heavier spring, preload is first place to start.
