My wife was on FB earlier and told me that Candy passed away recently. Anyone know more?

She was really fun to stop in and talk to. She said she was drunk one night and driving her golf cart with her dog, when she ran into a light pole and her dog flew out. She said her dog wouldn’t get back into the golf cart anymore. Good times right there.

Awe that's sad. Most amazing human. Always pleasant to us and my sister who owns a Conquest.

Wow super sorry to hear that. Really enjoyed dealing with Candy both at Sleek in Santa Fe Springs and at Conquest. She always kept the place rolling. It will be hard to fill her shoes at Conquest.

I never met her personally but we have a family friend with a conquest top cat 2 and spoke very highly of her. RIP. Seems like boating industry is losing a lot of good ones this year.

Sad. She was always pleasant & professional. I was 🤏 close to buying a conquest before opting for the woodfree nordic.

It seemed that Candy always had time to talk to people whether she knew them or not. The wife and I had the opportunity to visit with her several times while boat shopping quite a few years ago. RIP Candy.

Knew Candy back in the early 80's when Bruce was still with us. She knew everything SleekCraft! She was one of those people a successful boat company could not get along without. Spoke to her once in 2014-15ish. Sad to hear.

She’ll be missed, worked with her on many projects over the years.
her prehistoric record keeping was insane, literally a spiral notebook of every boat and every owner of that boat, along with motor drive info and work orders attached to boat not just owners. The greats pool gets smaller every year

She was a riot to talk too and made you want to stop by just to say hi. I haven’t seen her in years, I’m sorry to hear she passed away.
