Memorial Weekend pictures!

Starting off memorial weekend with some drama. Robert complained of back pain yesterday. Well about 10 mins before we got in the truck today, I noticed he had a rash on his back. Did a video call and he has shingles…. Thought the trip was cancelled, but they prescribed an anti viral and some pain meds. She said he should be feeling better soon and being young should help.. No burning, just is complaining of a muscle pull pain so we will see how it goes this weekend. Doctor says it’s only contagious to people who have not had chicken pox and for him to stay in the shade if he feels up to boating.

Just got gas in the boat and will see how he feels about launching tomorrow. Might just extend our trip depending on how he feels.

Posted in another thread it was noted that Ivermectin used topically helps with shingles. One member said it only last 12 hours when he used It personally. Might want to stop by tractor supply and pick some up. I know several people that had shingles and it is a concern as I am not willing to have any jabs at this time myself. It will be my go to if it happens to me. Enjoy the weekend. Wish I was able to be out on the water be the wife has other plans for me.

Oh I did not know that. We got a cream that has the word silver in it for the topical use. I will have to see if someone coming up today and tomorrow can grab that for him. Thankfully it appears the swelling has gone down. He still has no burning and tingling pain so I’m just hoping we caught it really early. Fingers crossed! Hope to see you guys soon!

Of the 3 we’ve had only one was a swimmer.
Drive for the ball brought her there.
Watching my parents golden retrievers go in after the ball drive her nuts and one day she just went for it.
After that the challenge was keeping her out of it at inappropriate times. Like thanksgiving day...
It also meant that the sprinklers she used to avoid became things to attack. At 06:10, in the dead cold of winter

I was 49, and it sucked. Had to shift to nights, hot outside and didn’t want to bring it to the boss or staff.

My own anecdotal cure was acetone.
Got smudges of Orange gelcoat bleed through my shirt onto the area (Rib cage) and had to get it off. Acetoned the whole area. Felt cool and soothing under the rag. Removed the rag and it turned to me screaming like a little girl

Love that neighborhood. There was a waterfront place that was $400,000 for sale forever. Tried to figure out how to pull the trigger way too many times. Rented quite a few VRBO’s in the area. Always a good time.

Woke up and washed this girl up and drove her over to Malibu Seafood. It’s the first day they have opened PCH. Not too bad of a drive.

We were excited to have a spot in the docks only to find that they were not open at that time. Went to the Naked Turtle and have a bite to eat.

Be careful out there the shitshow has begun. This video is the tail end of the shenanigans that ensued. This boat tried a couple of spots. Then they did not judge the wind and next thing they know they were coming into the boat on the beach. I can’t believe how nice the guy in the boat was. It was crazy to watch.
