I killed the last one and cleaned the bed out. See what that got me I'll leave the hood open for the day and she doesn't have them out of there then I'll do something. There is probably 10 babies in there. The eat the mice around here so there is that i guess

Was going to charge the battery cause its been sitting. That way the wife has something with AC as its starting to warm up. she only drives it in the summer for the AC and drives her Blazer the rest of the year.

Don't plan on it. Especially since i showed them to the wife. They eat the mice so im good with them. I did kill one, a few months ago, but it had no babies. This one im good with as long as it evacuates. Its definitely better then having mice nested under there! The hood is open and hopefully she packs her shit and gets out.

The first time I saw an opossum, I was 8 or so. Pops told me to get a trash can for him to empty the grass catcher. The cans were on the side of the house, under a tree. Apparently, one of them bastards fell into the can the night before, and couldn't get out.

I grabbed the can and looked in it, that F'r hissed and jumped at me! I came running back, screaming "there's a giant rat in there!"

Pops calmly went and looked, carried the can to the back yard and laid it down. Damn thing waddled off into the bushes.

Glad you were able to get her and the babies to move on with no harm to them. They are nasty creatures in my experience, would rather have raccoons. At least coons are intelligent and can be coerced in to moving on with passive impetus. Possums, not so much.
