Man both Floats look amazing - Killer job on bothWe had a great few days on Parker. Grandpas 21 Daytona ran great, WOT killed it on the entire rebuild they did. Finally got to get some seat time in on my raysoncraft, nothing like a twin turbo V drive

Nothing better than watching a hog grab a buzz baitBack at it again this morning. Got 2 that were even bigger today. 6.5 pounds this morning. They have been absolutely crushing a while buzz bait all weekend. Nothing better than some good top water blow ups. And now to cook some big ol pork steaks, honey garlic roasted carrots and some sweet potatoes View attachment 1510074 View attachment 1510075 View attachment 1510076 View attachment 1510077 View attachment 1510078

I just experienced this on Monday. I forgot I had the swim ladder down when it was docked. I got off plane and went to the swim platform. I hesitated to reach down and thought to myself this isn’t smart at all. Turned off the boat and put in the ladder. Anything can happen in seconds.Oaf. Like stated above that shit gave me anxiety watching and I’m not an anxious person!
I’ve left the boat running and jumped in real quick plenty of times in my day, not anymore, but with age comes wisdom. And even at my stupidest I would NEVER be floating or allow someone else to post up over the prop with the motor running and the capt at the helm. Ho Lee fuk![]()
… was brought up… No one jumps in the water till the motor is shut off… and have always adhered to that…Oaf. Like stated above that shit gave me anxiety watching and I’m not an anxious person!

We have a jet boat and have the same rule. You just never know what can happen.… was brought up… No one jumps in the water till the motor is shut off… and have always adhered to that…
I do the same, no one hits the water until the engine is off. and before I start it, i always look and give a warning that its starting.… was brought up… No one jumps in the water till the motor is shut off… and have always adhered to that…
Perfect day to Walleye fish.Still windy and cold. Hopefully this is a good sign that Ma-nature is getting her head out of her bass and it starts warming up. View attachment 1509219

I’m really thankful my wife does a lot to help me out. She backs the trailer down I put it on and off. She will get everything ready if we pull in a dock putting out buoys etc. she will drive when it’s time to anchor since it’s to heavy for her to toss she cleans the inside of the boat when I wipe down the outside after each day and she supports me paying Chris Howard to detail it after every trip to keep it new lol.I’m going to give props to all you guys out there making these trips happen for your families. With Robert down, I had to do a lot of the work. Loading the truck, grabbing the boat, loading the boat, coolers, anchor, sand spike… I am telling you, I am beat up and sore still. Being a passenger princess is a lot easier!
I enjoy the heck out of it to be honest. It lets me know that I am still physically capable of doing it and when I am in boating mode, its the oniy time my brain is focused on one task and nothing else!I’m going to give props to all you guys out there making these trips happen for your families. Hey Don. Thats fine, nothijg wrong with that! She packed some amazing snacks for the Alamo run!My wife really doesn’t do a lot. I messed up and didn’t teach her earlier. All 3 kids are really good at putting the boat on/off the trailer. Daughter has ice in her veins. I’ve tried to teach the wife to back the trailer down a few times. Had a couple others sit with her and do the same. So far, no luck.
That being said, she loves it on the water. Doesn’t flinch paying insurance, gas, launch fees. Although, she’s not a fan of annual maintenance and really not a fan of rebuilds.![]()

please let my wife know! i do it all when we are on the water, usually have couple buddies with their boats so we kinda team up and help each other. I do enjoy it though. she does handle the kids when we are on the water, including me. making sure we have sunscreen food ETC. the first time she came to the river with me and a couple buddies she couldnt believe it when she opened the cooler and there was nothing but beer and beef jerky (ahh to be in my early 20's again) so she has definantly stepped that program up. she also takes care of all the prep to leave the house, just puts all the containers and bags in a pile in the garage and i load them. the same when we get home, i build her a pile of stuff in the garage and she takes care of it.I’m going to give props to all you guys out there making these trips happen for your families.
