I was at the pastrami joint (El Original) in Bullhead City a couple of weeks ago and BHC PD was washing the boat... Then as we left behind them, they dumped the bilge all over the road... what a POS the fat bastard.... but I have a dashcam :)

I hear a lot of crying in that video.

Generally if water is clear and does not pose a hazard it is not illegal to dump it on the road.
Pretty sure the water in Bullhead is not clear. Not even though drinking water from your tap.

Considering the water that runs through Bullhead ends up in Havasu, you're probably right.

The water was green....

The term "clear" lends itself to water that isn't contaminated or otherwise hazardous. Lake water from a bilge with algae in it isn't going to be considered hazardous.

If the green color came from some sort of cleaner or something, that's a different deal. Probably shouldn't be shooting out the side, but even as was said in the video when the water went to the back, the bilge pump turned on.

Anybody with a boat could have the same thing happen and I doubt it was intentional.

What I might be questioning is (assuming that water would drain out with the plugs pulled), why weren't the plugs pulled? AZ law requires the plugs be pulled while towing the boat on the road.

A few years ago, I was pulling the Donzi back to So. Cal. from town. The plug was pulled and I passed the Cali entry inspection. I got off in Barstow to get some gas at Loves. I was in the left lane of the 2 lane road at a signal. When it turned green, I accelerated and my automatic bilge pump fired on the starboard side spraying the car to my right. I had no clue it would do this however, the guy hit with the water was decent and accepted my waive of apology.

I honestly think the auto bilge is something that can easily be overlooked. Is the term pig really needed though? Never really understood it. Most cops are just like us go to work do their job and come home to their family. Rough crowd.

Right? How else does everyone change their oil? Am i doing it wrong? 🤣🤣
One of my old bosses was a K boat racer. This what he did after every race, drain the oil in the boat, pull the plugs and hit the road.

Ever follow a toy hauler out of glamis or occotiilo? Gotta lighten the load before the grade.
Crack the valve as you pull away from the camp site...
At least bilge probably doesn't have piss in it.
Oily water maybe, but asphalt is already saturated in it.

I wouldn't be happy following it for sure.

Yeah some people get absolutely irate if the person in front of them on the freeway puts on their windshield washer fluid.

Our Lavey has two large built in ice chests under the rear seats that drain to the bilge. We pull the plug in the wipe down area at the ramp to let it drain from the bilge. Never fails someone walking by always says man your boats taking on a lot of water might want to get that checked out!

Change oil

Toss in a couple bags of ice, a little water and some dawn dish soap in the bilge

Drive around for awhile

Pull plug

Find a big hill to drive up

Is that not ok? How do you guys do it🤷‍♂️
Hell, My boat hasn't been towed far enough to do that in 20 years.

It looks like the plug is out of the boat or there is some water coming out of the center (possibly the jet?).

Also looks like some water sloshed back to a bulk head pickup and the pump pumped it out..

I guess I’m not sure what the big deal is?

… Pretty much like that except for the bags of ice… Used to be seldom used shipping center about a mile from me in North Hollywood… There was a sort of a ramp… Not too sure what the purpose of the ramp was but I would drive up the ramp and let the slightly dirty-soapy water drain down the ramp… Nobody ever said a word to me🤷🏽‍♀️… today that facility is a Costco whatever you call those Costco‘s that are for small businesses… if I were still boating, I don’t think I could get away with my old way of cleaning the bilge… now that I think about it… I wonder if Costco has owned that big building forever and in my day Costco just used it for storage🤷🏽‍♀️

Who fkn cares!? Why would you post it on YT with the cop hating environment nazis to put their spin on it!? Some poor fuck will get written up because you posted a video that has zero difference on your life or day!

LAM bash the same guys that I’m asking to control the rental boats, lake lice and pick me up when my shit bucket breaks down…. Unreal…. Biden voter tendencies!

"I have it on my camcorder! Yeah, if that was us we'd be getting pulled over and harassed!" 🤣

Between that comment and the kickass tunes playing in the background, I'd say it's just another snowbird heading north. Bye Felicia! 👋🤣

What is the deal with feathers? Is it a joke? If not why?
Not a joke. But when transporting poultry, feathers will fly off and they saw it as such a big deal that they needed to address it as littering or not.
