Book says oil change at 7000 miles, the app says it too. That's an EPA rule and too long IMHO.
I took it in at 4000 miles to change the mud. In the future I'll change it at 2 to 3000 miles.
Ya get a free tank of DEF, oil and filter and updates.
Also a pre-recall notice arrived.
Dealer disconnected the tail gate lowering control on the tailgate itself until the recall is figured out.
The FOB and app and dash tailgate lowering controls still works.
What would happen is ya put the truck in Park and the tailgate would drop.
This is a temporary preventive measure until the cure is figured out.
Having that happen when towing a trailer may lead to a mishap.
Forgot to mention to the service writer the dash AC damper would stick or not open fully restricting airflow. GM had a bulletin on that and they fixed it. MFSOB does it blow now.
