Mid 70’s every day.
Even though a week of hard rains last month
Trails passable.
Got a good campsite.
Truck threw a code then another then went into limp mode. Check engine light and then texts blew up from GM customer service to bring it in.
We rode the trails in the Can Am for six days then took the truck to the GMC dealer in Cedar City.
They were fantastic - fixed the issues in 2 hours.
Warranty covered it.
Top shelf people. Dropped everything to help us.
Bad ass French bakery down the street.
We took fresh made pastries for the whole dealership as a thanks:
They told me clogging particulate filters are a common problem with the long haul climbs towing. “2024s won’t have them”goes the strong rumor they added.
Wait for the 2024 DMaxs they told me. All new designs and the ‘23s may just be a continuation of the ‘22s.
A group invited us on a 130 mile + run to Mountain Meadows.
Here in the late 1850’s locals slaughtered about 120 in a wagon train traveling through from Arkansas to Calif on the old Spanish trail.
