On his way home from stagecoach in his insta cowboy fit?
confident he got into a Tesla or Prius lol
I own a Prius, but no heel boots...and only wear my felt or straw hats when in the C10 ;)
The only vests I have aren't exactly evening wear, and my denims are basically prison blues🤣

Hey Prison Blues are just a few miles away from me! They originated at OSP in Salem, Or where I live. Now the plant is at Eastern Oregon Correctional Institute i believe. They are actually good jeans!

My son, California/Arizona raised. Moved outside of Ft Worth. He’s got 3 horses, and ropes in his spare time. The kid has all kids of farm animals. Not sure where he got that from. Chickens, goats, emu’s, pigs, horses, and probably a few I haven’t seen pics of. He makes fun of our friends wearing “cowboy gear” on social media. I asked him why he doesn’t wear a cowboy hat, he said you gotta earn it. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Very common amongst real cowboys and mountain men etc . We have a cabin in alpine Az . Year round population od about 300 . Half the men open carry . also common to tuck their pant legs into their boots .

Fair enough, makes sense for a small town where everyone knows each other. My comment was more for densly populated areas where it's likely not the smartest move, that is, unless you want to be identified as the first target by someone intending harm.

Wondering if he doesn't work at the Stockyards doing the "cattle drive" or some other such venue.
There are a bunch of workers who dress like that who work at the resorts in North Scottsdale and the Jeep tour people in Phoenix, Sedona and the Grand Canyon.

A buddy owns a jeep tour company at the Grand Canyon and says all the foreign tourists love that stuff.

They fly in to LA, rent a Harley to ride Route 66 to the grand canyon, do a jeep tour and cowboy camp night and fly back home.

I've always wondered how they reach the ground with their feet on the Harley?

You best be ready to skin that six gun talking like that.

All joking aside. If this is a real cowboy would you honestly expect him to CC?

I may be mistaken but that would in fact make him a fake cowboy.

I think the whole problem with society is nobody open carries. Think about it. When’s the last time you picked a fight with a guy you had a pistol on his hip?

Armed society is a polite society

You're not wrong. Indeed, an armed society is a polite society. Just a personal choice that I don't open carry. Not sure where this photo was taken, but when I see someone in AZ open carrying, while I choose not to follow suit, it does make me thank my lucky stars I live in a free state where the 2A is alive and well.

There's a book on the subject, "More Guns, Less Crime". It went into statistics about ownership per capita and relationship to crime statistics.

Texas, open carry and constitutional concealed carry both are legal.

I didn’t take the picture. But I think I’ve seen that guy at my local store.

If I could pull off a cowboy hat, I would wear one. I did used to wear one at the river, but it wasn't appreciated.

Agree on that for the city. I think they’re just trying to flex their stupidity and are a first target.

But for the rural areas I see it as a normal thing and could be better suited. I’ll conceal around town but if in the rural I’ll go open too at times.
