I dont know anything about that specific stuff but it has Glucosamine and Chondroitin in it and I know that stuff REALLY helped my dads back. At one point he quit playing golf and after being on this along with a few other things he now plays 3 days a week. I think its really suppose to be good for joints etc.

Steve what he said about the Gluc. and Chond. stuff. It does work, but it takes time to begin working. I am sure you can buy the basic stuff cheaper at any drugstore over the counter. I have, among other things, degenerative arthritis in my spine and have been on the stuff for a long time. I know you live in Vegas, but it does get cold down there sometimes, and when it is cold is when the stuff seems to help the most.

Cosamin ASU for humans and Dasuquin for animals. They both have avocado oil which has been shown to increase the uptake of the active ingredients. Our 3-year old GSD has hip dysplaisia and annual x-rays have confirmed that his arthritis has diminished in one hip and disappeared in the other. This is with one Dasuquin a day for the last two years.

I have been using Glucosamine with MSM for years, it's help me and I buy it at Costco. I have Osteoarthritis, the best I did was change my diet. I change to a balanced diet with lots of fruits and veggies, I cut out processed or refined foods, no shellfish, no beef, no soft drinks, and I drink a lot of water. I never did take the time to think what types of food I was putting into my body and what types of harm it's doing to my insides until the last few years.
Look up Apple Cider Vinegar and Cayenne Pepper drink, it may help you with the inflammation.

All supplements/medicines have side effects, check with your doctor to make sure it will not interfere with any medicines the you are on.

wonder if it really works???

My wife is an RN and her father is a doctor so I have some sources for medical info. I asked and here is what I was told, as paraphrased by me.

Glucosamine can be a great help to people with arthritis. Chondroitin is not nearly so important but can also help, in some cases.

Take three tablets per day. If you only take one, it will not do anything.

Expect noticeable results within a week, or so. When you stop taking the pills, you will notice a negative result in 3~5 days.

After 10 knee surgeries and two shoulders surgeries I gave up on all the different Glucosamine tabs. About a month ago I saw this stuff and decided to give it a try, noticed improvement in about two weeks..........

I take the "Puritan's Pride" version and if I don't, a week later my thumbs start to act up again. It didn't help my sister though.
