Anybody else getting bit by fish in Havasu?

I was at Steamboat on Thursday hanging out behind the boat when all the sudden i feel this sharp pain in my side. A fish bit my freaking mole! Son of a bitch! I bled pretty good, and the little guy circled me looking for more. This is now the fourth time ive been bit, twice in Copper cyn and once in Topock. Time to get that mole removed. Im i the only one that gets bit?

Yes they bite me too all the time. I had a skin tag on my lower back they used to always bite. Snipped that off , problem gone! LOL, they sure love the moles and skin tags. Kinda strange.

They can be relentless as well. Never giving up. All you need is a rubber big mouth bass tied in the water next to you and no small fish will come near.

Yep. We were floating off of Islander, and one little fish bit at all of us. The ladies got up on the floating islands and mats...us tough guys stuck it out.

I have had it happen at Mohave before, but I don't remember it happening in Havasu until this weekend.

Yep! Got my nipple bit at Havasu years ago. Stung all week. When I would strecth the skin to look at it, I had a bunch of tiny lesions all over the damn thing. This was somewhere in some cove between Steamboat and the channel.

A guy I used to work with has this fantastic story of how he went to college on a swimming scholarship. One day, before a meet he was shaving his chest in the shower and inadvertently shaved off a nipple. I guess it bled like a firehose for a long time.

It must have been something to feel your nipple catch on fire and look down to see your nipple stuck like a pencil eraser between the two blades of a BIC disposable razor.

Last week I was standing waist deep in water and felt something bite my big toe. I look down and see a baby turtle swimming away.

Been catching the adult snapping turtles on a catfish rig too. That sucks.

Sort of that. probably has something to do with water temps. Temperature has alot to do with where the fish hang out.
