Ya know, adapters to convert single rear axle to dually?
Pro's and Con's?

Used the Arrowcraft kit to convert my 97 F-350 to DRW for hauling the camper.
Very, very happy with it.

As a teenager, I knew a couple of guys... one took a 66 long bed Chevy, the other a 68 long bed Chevy. They cut out the bed to accept some round fenders that would cover the dually rear ends they put under them. Both built up a couple of bad ass small blocks pumping out some huge horses, and they both painted the trucks solid red. Full blown street customs. These things sounded wicked going by and racking back as they shifted through the gears... I just thought it was really cool that they took these regular trucks and made hot rod duallys out of them...

Did a conversion on a 79 Suburban.
Came out pretty sweet.
I bought the kit from Traders they are/were a custom truck builder/supplier.
On the adapters I made sure the surface area of the rotor/drum was clean and flat. Also check all the tork after a few miles of use.

I did a 1981 Chevey Suburban, 4" Adapters and fenders. Never had a problem with them. Didnt tow that much with it just drove the hell out of it.
