Where does everyone park to unload? the dirt lot near the River Island Market?

Don't want to be that asshole who is parking where they shouldn't

You realize it’s a 5 mile trail to desert bar that way?

Yes in the dirt lot next door. That said Ian is right it is a pretty short ride.

You can go down to Shea rd and cross up there a couple different ways

A Bit off subject, but last week Feb. 23rd there was a full-page article in the USA Today, and was very interesting and can't help but think about the increase in business it will bring to his Compound.

I haven’t done it in a year or two but I never thought of it as rough? Maybe something changed?
We did it earlier this year and it’s the same trail other than someone dozed the small rock climb section just off the parking lot. This is now a graded slope.
Not a rough trail at all. Fairly smooth other than a couple rock sections as you get closer to the bar.
Start to finish, maybe a 30 minute ride.

That first rock was the toughest part of the entire trail.

It was graded, as that is now an improved section of the Arizona State Parks and Trails OHV system. It is considered an access trail for the "Arizona Peace Trail".

5 miles? Wasn’t the longest ride ever when we did it but it took a bit longer than that. 2 beer stops. Maybe we took a longer way around?

I just did it in a stock F250 4x4.......got lots of puzzled looks from the SxS crowd. lol.
I had to go up that trail in a 1978 Chevy Blazer about 30 years ago to find and rescue a German hiker that fell when she got off the Buckskin hiking trail. Kinda sketchy, but we made it in and got her to an area where DPS could drop a chopper to fly her out.
