So far he's been kicked out of his Chamber of Commerce, and got fired from his Real Estate gig. Also kicked out of the Thumb Area Charter Captains Association.

Anyone that thinks that what happened on Saturday should have ended with our great president's death is an IDIOT and should be exposed, blasted and shunned throughout this and any other website seen in America. I personally cannot stand Biden or Obama both the worst presidents this country has ever had (including peanut head Carter) but I would never wish a US President being assassinated or attacked. I am an all out hard core conservative RED as you get... I have a few folks I know that are middle ground and even leaning a little left but not un American in anyway and we can discuss and have differences in politics and I know they would never wish this either.

People are free to express opinions, but that does not mean they should not be held responsible. People feeling like they can run their mouths with no recourse is how we got into this mess. Time to make some examples.

Keeping mind I may have to defend my actions on this forum helps me keep it civil. I think people forgot how to act, time to remind them.

Edit: I should add that wrongful termination litigation may play a role in some of these cases. If company policy restricts what an employee does on Social, they should take responsibility. In so far as business owners, they are big boys and should own what they say.

I guess the discussion is how do you stop/correct bad thought. Putting consequences to bad thought like loss of employment is the lesser evil of other alternatives, like "Re-Education" camps.

I was never a fighter as a kid, but I do believe that the consequences of punching someone in the mouth have become far too severe. There are just a ton of people that deserve to/need to be punched. But, I believe that interaction should be between individuals. If a coworker punches you in the mouth because your a dipshit, that's one thing, but if the owner of the company does, that's different for some reason in my head. I think that's where I'm getting tripped up.....
