Boat Storage Questions

Couple questions for the RDP people about boat storage . I know there seems to be waiting lists to get a storage unit but , curious what the pricing on them is .

1 - What is the going rate per month to rent a 40ft deep with a 14' tall door ?

2 - What would the same unit cost to buy in one of those storage facilities where you own it ?

I rent a 30ft spot with a 12 ft door for 195. This has electric for my on board charger, 24 hour access and another amenities

I'm thinking about jumping ship. Oasis is too far off the highway. And with new locations popping up now is a great time

Honestly I was thinking about taking a look around also. I do a lot of boating in needles and havasu so having it there in the middle of both is nice. But I wouldn't mind having one in havasu.

I didn't even think one could get C of O w/o them, but isn't Billy like the Major of Needles now? From what I heard, passed through the city, but county got involved.

I'm at spikes in needles for a 35' lg 12' door. $160 month paying 6 months upfront.

I'm renting a 13'x45' with 14' door for $185 at Loc-N-Leave from the owner of the unit.
Electrical available in unit on a 1 hour timer.

I found it on Mohave CL.

If you want to purchase a storage unit PM Paul65K and you can see what's available. They have been running about 1k per foot.

i had 2 units at lakefront, just vacated one of them saturday. ron had someone lined up for it when i gave notice a month ago. cost is 47 cents a square foot.

So let me reply to this thread seeing as people seem to know what's going on with me / the storage business. We bought in Needles not only for my tie with the city . But for the location. I mean its centrally located for Gods sake. And right off the freeway. Eazy on & easy off. Needles, Laughlin, Mohave, Havasu Landing, LHC. All within a hour. But with that said the killer in all of this is the taxes the wonderful state of CA is hitting us with. I had no idea it would be this ridiculous. By selling the small building (which we did) it will allow us to move forward and free up some much needed $$$$$. The big building is still ours. With that said, were already in the process of building two more buildings on some property we have just over the bridge in AZ. I will continue with the paint shop in CA @ the Needles location as I just don't have the engery or time to go thru a complete move again. Make "NO MISTAKE", We are in the storage business. And will be for years to come. I have already met a lot of great people. Guys that I can jack with on a daily basis and have fun with. They trust us with there boats or RV's and when they have problems we try our best to get those problems handled so it makes there vacation as stress free as possible. My staff & I have gone out of our way to make your storing of a Boat or RV as easy as possible. Not to mention taking care of your investment like it was our own. Not all my customers are on RD's site. But if they were I'm sure they would tell you how pleased they have been with our service. I know RD has been saying some stuff about me putting road grindings down instead of concrete. Well my vision has come true on this. We had it rolled in between 8 layers. We have wetted it down a few times to really pack it in. Boats and the RV's are staying much cleaner then when stored on concrete. Especially individual units. Most individual units don't have walls that go all the way to the ceiling or insulated for that matter. So when Joe blow shows up a few units down and opens his door on a windy day everyone on that row gets a dusting from all the dirt laying on the concrete. Proof is visible. I get compliments all the time on how the customers can't believe the difference. We only open our doors to put stuff away or pull out. They aren't open for very long. We ask our clients to call when there about a hour out (24 hour notice is required the day before) and we then pull your boat out. Unlike a lot of the storage places who pull them out a day or two before to only have them sit in the hot sun. Not at Arrive n Drive. And we put them away within the hour of drop off. So if your looking for a 1st class storage facility, and a one that can be a one stop shop for you, look no further. We're here to help.

Makes sense since Needles doesn't have there own FD. SBCF would have authority.
