Maybe the fucktards that wanted to turn this into a vaccine thread can settle down and pray for this kid. I’m not sure where the thread went but i can only assume. I’m not a fan of either the nfl or the jab but this is someone’s son.

It got moved to the covid dungeon...I think it's like the circles of hell thing, more than one.

I haven't heard any news, hoping maybe tomorrow will bring some good updates.

I keep watching the replay of the hit and his teammates reacting. Regardless of how they feel about today’s environment, they all know they may have lost a fellow man and worst of all, they were there to witness it.

I hope he is ok and makes a recovery. I'm a dad with kids in sports etc. But that guy doesn't know me my friends or give a shit about any of us. Plus all the people that pass away everyday in this county and in our own communities that never are mentioned. Ken Block was an icon and truly good person from what I can tell and that part doesn't even matter anymore, not even a mention of him on stations that do the X games etc. Again hope the kid is ok but I don't really care.

I completely agree with you. Kens life matters just as much as this kids. My thread was put up only to try to stop the bullshit about the jab and to pray for those that need it.

That's the thing, I don't follow sports like that. To those guys, it's the same as someone like me losing someone on a jobsite...that field was the jobsite. It takes on a different life and reality then.

As JD mentions, Ken Block is a bigger gut check for me personally. He was more "real" to me. He was a guy I'd shaken hands with. Not a friend, but a guy I met, not a face on the TV at that point.

With the NFL guys, no one expects to go to work, and watch someone leave in an ambulance. The those on the field, it is very real, and very close.

The nfl player incident is the top story here since the kid is from and played for pitt but this happened a couple hours before the Monday night football game. I wonder if the officers go fund me hit 5 million dollars by now……

2017 data shows that, in the US, a person dies every 37 seconds from cardiovascular disease.
Even before Covid and the jab that’s 2353 deaths per day.
That has increased post Covid and jab simply from population growth alone if nothing else.

This young man fell out on TV, that’s the difference.
Basic human empathy dictates that we want him to recover of course, but that’s because millions viewed it and it hits us more.
But at least over 2300 people died unsung of the same thing yesterday.in this country.

Every one of them is someone’s kid, parent, sibling, friend, etc.

Frankly, I don’t have that many prayers to throw away, I save them for what I TRULY want from my God, it makes them more valuable in my mind.

I haven't see the other thread about this......BUT, if it was SO important to know WHO got the jab (just not the long ago), why can we ask the question if this young athlete in fact did.....

Unfortunately he wont be the last.....It was tough to watch and hoping he pulls through.

I believe this football player did get the jab. I saw a report a that he was talking about getting his booster a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, I cannot find the link now. However, all the news sites now stating the jab didnt cause his cardiac arrest.

I am sorry, but I wouldn't believe anything the MSM says regarding this topic, especially The LA Times..........

The "GO FUND ME" Account is Not for him, but for his Children's Charity that he started way before Monday Nights Game.

File me under a fuktard and zero fuks given
I’m not quite there, but../
About 165,000 people die globally every day.
Heart disease complications (caused by various things) is the number 1 killer.

In the US about 3 million people die annually (as of 2019), or about 8200 people a day.
This kid went down on national TV.
Overall people aren’t used to seeing it.
We read about 50
shootings a month in Chicago, but we dont usually see the ugly reality.
Now, because the kids unfortunate heart attack happened on TV I’m supposed to clutch my rosary and pray or I’m a fucktard?

About 5 people died of heart attacks in this country while I typed this.

You may in fact be a fuktard...pretty sure we all are;)

The sad fact is, to a lot of people, TV is life. Die hard football fans are about the same as NASCAR fans were. They could tell you girlfriend, kids and pet's names, where the went to school and previous issues.

Seeing this on TV made an impact on many people that haven't taken notice. I'm of the camp that the vax played a roll. This stuff happens, sure...but seems very convenient. It rarely happens to adults short of vehicular trauma. I do hope the young man recovers. I also hope his unfortunate event made people look up the number of athletes suddenly collapsing over the past year. From high school to the big leagues, it's a major ordeal.

Incorrect, the family has updated the gofundme page and it specifically says under the update the family will be taking the money to use during this difficult time. Its also at 6 million now and people keep on giving. When the bills will set him for life as other teams have for other players that have life long issues from in game incidents.

Its inevitably turned into a money grab. That daycare is in a town of 6000 people and is not a big place, it likely has less than 20 kids total, there is no way they could take a donation of that magnitude. And the family has already stated they will be using the money.

His go fund me that was set up in December of 2020 to help kids at a daycare is now over $6 million dollars.

He is a good kid, helping kids in need even before the NFL.

The latest post I've seen says his breathing is improved.

RIP Ken Block. I personally think his death is the headliner but that's just my opinion. I was / still am saddened by this news. The motorsports community took a HUGE hit Monday evening

About the football kid....
I came across this video somehow, it talks about a micropulse in your heart and timing of the hit. Interesting to watch

I've watched the video several times in slow motion and have paused at the time of impact and I fail to see a blunt impact to his chest that would cause Commotio Cordis. Commotio Cordis is extraordinarily rare. Just getting hit in the chest isn't enough to cause the deadly condition. It is usually caused by a blunt object like a hockey puck or baseball hitting an unprotected chest at exactly the right moment in the heartbeat. Damar did take a hit, but it wasn't a blunt force hit. His chest appears to be grazed by the other player and the chest pads would have dispersed the blow. Much different that a smaller object like a baseball hitting his chest dead on at 80 mph. I just don't see it, but that is my opinion.

Again, I hope Damar makes a complete recovery.

It was just something I found interesting, take it for what it's worth. I don't watch a lot of football and could care less on convincing anyone of anything. But I would actually agree with you that it didn't seem like a hard hit.

I didn't read much of the last thread either, but it sounds like people argued weather or not the jab causing the cardiac arrest. I'm anti jab but have no reason to argue if that's what caused it. Hope he recovers.

Sad isn't it? That people's concern about being "right" overwhelms their concern for another human life?

The world is definitely broken.

Terrible news about the police chief as well. 😔
I've prayed for him and very much want him to totally recover, but I more want this coverup to be blown wide open, I want the truth out there and thousands to be saved.

Yes. It does seem younger people can have adverse reactions.

It's well documented on the CDC website. 😔

That's what is so horrible. Parents were made to feel as criminals if they didn't want their kids to have it. My wife and I talked about it, and decided to wait a year or so and see. Our kids had had covid, so we figured we had some time.

In the past year, I've seen two incidents of high school athletes drop. Thank God not like this NFL incident, but enough that kids were wheeled out to the ambulance and taken. Is it the diets, the workouts? I don't know...and that's why it scares me. It wasn't like this a few years back. Way more incidents that make you question the causes.

I remember when my kids were little and the wife and I Had to discuss the vaccinations they would be getting.

We have a close friend with five kids, and one of those kids was turned into a vegetable after she got vaxed. 😔

We decided to wait a year or so past when the recommendation date was and everything turned out ok.

There is Always a risk with Any vax and people should Not be forced or guilted into it.

Me personally, anything "new" worries me. 7.3 Powerstokes? I was working at a dealer when they came out...too much crap going on. Waited a few years, they were great. Then, the 6.0. I figured the 7.3 was great, have no fear!
I should have waited a year or so:oops:

Anything "new" is just that, new. We don't know the long term effects of anything that hasn't been around. With my kids and the early age Vax stuff, they had the same ones my wife and I had. Good or bad, they didn't harm us that we know of.
Life's a crapshoot. We all try to do what we think is best. We won't know the final outcome until way down the line.

“New” is one thing, a hurried, politicized, government for profit serum is quite another thing.

Well, what about "new" hurried, politicized profiteering at the cost to the people? New or old, still evil.
Hogwash. This vaccine has been tested all over the world. Absolutely safe and effective if you don't die. Rare, well okay not so rare side effect. I am amazed all these internet surgeons had this all diagnosed yesterday. Whats next ? He had a sudden lack of oxygen to the brain ? It's not from the shot. It's happening to a lot of people now . The sooner you accept climate change the more people will live . Tough to watch? Fuck , I have seen Buster Keaton do better falls. I am supposed to get down on my knees and pray to some god no one has seen in 2 thousand years and ask for a life saving miracle to save some fucktard I don't even know ? Call me cold but I think I will save that favor for myself or at least some one I know. I think we should postpone all physical sports for 1 year and just stick to motorsports . What say ya ?

...only a handful of folks know who Buster Keaton was...and I may be on the younger side🤣

As for prayers, I see no harm in doing so. In the end, it's his choice to answer. If I ask, or someone else does, it's better than wishing ill towards others, right?
