Since moving to TX I miss my del taco. I mostly miss del scorcho hot sauce, I put that shit on everything 😁

Who here wants to grab a metric ton of packets and ship them to me?👍
Lol same here. Every time we fly back to SNA our first stop is Vibe for the wife and Del Taco for me.

Miss that place so much. Oklahoma has Del, why doesn’t Texas? Bullshit.

Since we are on the topic, Taco Lita sauce was the bomb. last time I was there, they were out. (Arcadia)

And I’m happy to send you a handful of the scorcher sauce

The whole del taco topic has been gone over many times here.

I Fuckin love it!

Boys and I with Ed, the founder. He Tried to clean our table. I said, you’re Ed right? He said yes. I said you don’t need to clear our table sir. Then I said boys this is the founder of del taco. They were pretty impressed. 😁

Ed still buses tables few days a week at the 5 stores he still owns.

My buddy moved from Cali to Wisconsin and the closest Del was in Denver. He'd buy 100+ burritos every year passing through in his RV and freeze them. I swear he'd go hundreds of miles out of the way to hit the last Del headed back east. He is now back in Cali and is signed up to be a tester at the Del Taco office/kitchen development in Lake Forest. They send him emails and a few time a year he gets paid to try and evaluate new recipes. He's devoted lol,

Texas used to have Del Taco, but the dozen or so locations were all closed in late 2015. Underperformed.

There’s a bunch of Taco Bravo locations, but haven’t tried so don’t know how they compare to Del Taco.

If you want Real Del Taco your tied to the High Desert 3 locations still owned by the family.

Everything else is owned by Jack in the Box now and its seriously not the same. No spicy Jack cheese, no classic chicken burrito, and other stuff replaced by gimmick food just like The Box has.

I went to the Fountain Valley Naugles start-up or pop-up maybe a year back and was excited for it but the concept died.

I can tell a decline since Jack in the box purchased them

Anyone remember when the hot sauce came in a square cup with a peel off lid?
That was when del taco and naugles 1st merged. I believe it was only at the locations that were naugles 1st as that’s the ones I remember having the square cup.

It could be the other way around as I was very young when that happened.

This is the ideal outfit for someone that eats Taco Bell 🤣

I'm assuming it comes with a button flap rear like a Union suit?

There's no way I'd get out of that thing on time when the train leaves the station after eating Taco Bell or Del Taco food.
