does AAA do duplicate titles?

lost one of our pink slips and i need it very soon. Anyone know if i can get i new pink slip at AAA? dreading having to spend the day at the DMV tomorrow lol. thank you in advance

Thats a good question. Pink slips/titles and duplicates I go to DMV all other stuff AAA.

Heres what AAA can help you with:
Vehicle, boat, and off-road vehicle registration renewals
Duplicate registration and stickers
Drivers license change of address form
Used vehicle, and off-road vehicle transfer of ownership
New and used boat transfers
Release of liability
Replacement license plates
Disabled person parking placards
Disabled person license plates
Personalized license plates

These services must be done through the DMV:
New drivers licenses
Drivers license renewals
New vehicle registration
Dealer transfers
Salvage certificate
Original off-road vehicle transfers (brand new vehicles)
All other DMV services not available at a AAA branch
You can make a DMV appointment by calling 1-800-777-0133 during business hours or using the DMVs online appointment system.

Yes you can go to AAA to do all of the paperwork. I just transferred pinks from me to my Daughters (No need to have their cars in my name).
The DMV will mail you a new pink in about 2 weeks. :thumbup:

Just call AAA first. DMV sucks..

Call your dealer and ask them what you need on the trade in.

I recently traded in a truck to a new car dealer and forgot the pink at home. They said don't worry about it

yeah, in CA it wasn't going to be a problem. but out of state it is.

Stop by a CarMax and see if they will match the $$$ that your trade in in AZ would be. If close enough, sell it to them and go buy the other.

It's been a couple years since I tried, but when I did, the new pink was mailed to you. You get a printout dealio, but not the actual pink.

No. I don't think so. You get it in the mail.

That just means he has to drive two vehicles home after the purchase, which may not be a big deal if it makes things simpler.
