I swear by the Horizon brand, very good, the Jack version is not that bad, there used to be a local brand that was excellent, but no stores carry it anymore.

I like the Southern Comfort brand, no booze in it, but still the best that the local stores carry. I tried the Broguire’s brand, but it’s too thick for me.

I like the Evan Williams egg nog you buy at liquor stores. Already has the booze but a little extra makes it even better!

That sounds like a good way to ruin decent booze.

It is thick and wish it was little thinner. Adding bourbon helps with that.

The holidays just wouldn’t be the same without an Egg Nog, I like to add Jack Daniel to it , but the other day I had Costco egg nod and added Fireball cinnamon whisky and it was very good.

Gonna try what the OP posted for sure though, since they make the Best chocolate milk!

My dad has made it fresh before but it's been quite a few years now. Might need to throw a hint his way for Christmas dinner this year. :D

Probably goes without saying to use pasturised eggs...

Wife makes this, can be dangerous.

Blend 6 egg yokes with 2 cups sugar, beat until thick.
Add 1 pint bourbon, stir in 1 cup rum and 1 cup brandy.
Blend in 3 pints heavy cream and 2 cups milk.
Beat 6 egg whites to peaks, fold into the egg nog.
Chill in a large punch bowl.
Serves up to 25
I like it served in a glass over crushed ice.
Then Beware ! !

Not even close to the store bought stuff.
Comes out looking similar to AzKevins recipe.
