Was looking at the storage condos you have listed on the south end of town.

Any photos of the inside? Are these new?

Do you guys ever list units that you could convert into a crash pad? Thinking of something that was 40' of storage, bathroom, maybe a kitchenette and a bed.

The term “condo” can be misleading. Not permitted for living space. Just think of it as a gated community/condo where your boat lives.

Mine was climate controlled, had an electrical outlet on a timer and a hose connection one unit over from mine.

Bathrooms at the end of the building and a shower.

I’m sure there were times where people were staying overnite in those things but HOA’s were clear, not intended or permitted for a living or sleeping area.

While I know of a guy that sleeps in his RV in his unit, this is not what the intended use of these and I’m pretty sure most of the CCR’s would clarify that. I don’t have interior photos but have requested. Give me a call anytime to discuss these or any other storages in town.

When I bought a couple before they broke ground there was an option for plumbing for a bathroom. You would have to cut a lot of concrete to make it happen on an existing unit. None that I know of are zoned residential.

Stacy sold us ours north of Walmart. 50 amp service, facility has bathrooms and showers and a rv dump. Very well lit at night so I can wash my stuff after dark. Gated entry and cameras all over. We added ac and wall insulation and did the floors as well as put in a DI spotless water system for washing motorhome, cars and boats.

We have a 20 by 50 rv garage at home but my boat, sand car and golf cart pretty much fill that up. We looked into buying the lot next door and adding more garage but with building costs and havasu construction drama it made far more sense to buy the condo, and it’s only 2.5 miles from the house.

It’s 25 by 50 and holds our Rv, my wife’s boat, couple Harley’s and my camaro.

Rent it from culligan, $50 a month or so then $50 a refill when you need it. Washing my rv was $150 each time so it pays for itself and it’s so nice not to have to dry. I run it through a gas pressure washer so I use less water, coming up on 6 months and no refill needed yet and I’ve washed the motorhome and trailer a half dozen times plus our car and truck pretty often

we did not want a second home in Havasu. Did not want all vacations to be in Havasu. So we got a condo to store the boat (cheaper then renting) and a ToyHauler To travel this great country.
as we get closer to leaving CA, we might sell condo and purchase small house in Havasu that will be our retirement house, but that is still TBD. until then the storage condo was a great investment

People say they should have bought all the Magic deck botes they could 10 years ago. No they should have bought every available storage condo in town 10 years ago.

It’s like the Wild West out here right now. On my 5th offer for an inmate this week. Solid buyer, waiving everything, $20-$40k over ask and we get beat out. But we did just list a nice one in the refuge today!

There’s also a nice one in town coming up for $650k with a 72’ garage if you know anyone looking!

Want to double your money and sell?

Then what :). I will sell when I get an RV garage house in Havasu - wife is not on board with that purchase while we are paying 2 college educations for the kids right now.
I know a unit in my complex is for sale (saw sign as I entered complex Thursday).
