So trying to pick a carpet color for this boat . I have picked the upholstery colors I am happy with . The majority will be the lighter tan color with small amounts of dark tan and orange stripes of some sort.
I personally like the grey carpet over the sand color . The grey does match the pump and some motor parts but I definitely dont want to be G£Y ! I am not a fan of the sand color but my very valued opinion son says different. What is the general consensus here as I heard some of you are performance boat jack-a-lopes !

Gray with an orange stripe(6"-8") down the middle. But good luck finding an orange to match

Exterior is Gray/Orange
Interior is Tan/Orange
Keep the theme consistent.

The grey will stand up to use much better, and it's more harmonious. I doubt you're going to be eating Cheetos in that ride, but things happen. Besides that, the sand has too much brown in it.

I think the orange pops better off the grey carpet.
Once carpet installed it will fade into the background to.
I vote grey. Maybe even a one shade darker grey, but not black.

I did COCOA and love it, but I have a dark brown accent stripe it matches/contrasts with.

The gray looks classy, more along the lines of a hot rod/water rod and just fits better with the overall look of what you have done with the boat…..which looks great by the way!
The sand color just screams “I redid my entire boat but ran outta money and just left the 1976 Omega jet boat beige carpet it had”! 😁

What about doing an eva foam in it. Dek-X would be my suggestion, but you could do a two color with tan and orange.

what carpet is that? In pics it looks crinkly turf ish. If your stuck on carpet I’d do gray but I don’t hate the sand

Gray but keep it a light gray, that dark stuff gets really hot on your feet.

Orange stripes? I guess it is an 80s jet boat. 😄 J/K. Do it mono chrome orange.

Lighter tan with darker welt and small orange detail. If you’re doing a welt style trim. Curios how you’re going to trim it the way the frames are built.

In your color samples the tan colors are the seats vynil color correct? If yes, my vote is for lighter shade of brown carpet or a light gray carpet like a dove gray. That's a good looking float. Look forward to seeing the finished product.

Just don't go with faded red, you'll never hear the end of it. ;) 👍
